MaxWills uses Anthropic Claude, a large language model AI, to generate your estate planning documents. Here is exactly what happens:

You answer questions in our interview about your family, assets, and wishes.
Your answers are analyzed against Texas statutory requirements (Tex. Est. Code and related statutes) by our interview engine to determine which provisions apply to your situation.
Your answers and the required provisions are sent to Anthropic's API with a detailed instruction prompt specifying Texas statutory requirements.
Anthropic's AI generates a draft will and related documents in proper legal form.
The draft is reviewed by our system for obvious issues before being presented to you.

AI is not infallible. Our AI system can and does make mistakes. Common limitations include:

Incomplete provisions: The AI may omit clauses that are important for your specific situation but were not captured in the interview.
Statutory accuracy: While we design prompts around current Texas statutes, AI systems can make errors in applying legal requirements.
Complex situations: Business ownership, blended families, non-Texas property, special needs beneficiaries, and other complex circumstances may not be handled correctly by AI alone.

📈 4. How MaxWills Learns and Improves

MaxWills improves document quality over time through pattern-based learning from legal form errors identified during attorney review. This process works as follows:

When an attorney identifies an error or omission in a generated document, the error type and the interview scenario that triggered it are logged.
We analyze patterns: for example, "when a client owns rental property and has minor children, the AI sometimes omits a specific provision."
The interview engine and document generation prompts are updated to address the pattern.
Personal data is never used in this process. Your name, family details, beneficiary names, and asset descriptions are not included in error pattern analysis.

Your answers are transmitted to Anthropic's API for document generation. Anthropic's API terms state that they do not use API-submitted data to train their AI models.
